Within the field of mechatronic systems engineering, we specialize in electronics for fast, flexible, high-bandwidth motion control. We also design electronics for computing, communication and user interfacing. Small products such as wearables require electronics with challenging form factors. For its design, we draw on our experience with miniaturization, sensor fusion, ultralow-power technology and wireless communication, including cloud and IoT connectivity. At the other end of the power spectrum, we work on high-current electronics for large-scale facilities and power electronics for new energy systems.

We master a broad range of platforms, from micro-controller to industrial pc. In each project, we select the appropriate platform depending on the required functionality, capacity and peripherals configuration. Focusing on minimal outgassing and heat dissipation by components, we develop dedicated electronics for applications in vacuum environments and cleanrooms. For the serial production of consumer or medical electronics, we perform value engineering and follow design-for-manufacturing procedures, in collaboration with internal production partners and external EMS providers. We also define testing strategies and develop dedicated production or test tooling if required. In each case, reliability and high yield are the ultimate goals.
